 Students are eligible for competition try outs at the age of nine, and after taking dance at least one year at Seven Lakes Dance. Competition try-outs take place at the end of the dance year, right before recital. The only exception to these rules are the beginner competition students, which are picked by instructors. Students are placed on competition teams based on age, ability, and scores received during try-outs. Please direct any questions or comments to Marcie Overcash.

Competition days and times will be announced a week prior to each scheduled competition. Parents will be responsible for booking hotel rooms if they desire to stay overnight. Schedule for fees including deadlines for each competition will be emailed to all competition parents.
